If you sit very still, you can see the blue sky in its vastness, its silent contemplation of all that is below. It stays above the building tops that are so eagerly stretching out to touch it, to meet it, and to gain a morsel of its tranquility. The blue is vast, contemplating, expansive; even at the sea it does not join forces with the deep blue ocean, but drapes itself around it like a bubble wrap around a fragile being. I see the sky, I aim to be the sky, calm, at peace, steady, constant; but I cannot be the sky. I am grounded, stuck in me. The blue expanse sometimes suffocates me, sometimes baffles me, sometimes uplifts me, and always grounds me in a curious way. Something so big makes me feel so small, but brave enough to reach and be that enormous. I am blue.
I aim to be the sky
